Eating my body weight in chocolate...

Ash and I went to eat our body weights in chocolate at Cadbury World last Sunday.  There's quite a lot to see and do there but a small warning there's a lot of being talked at by holograms - which I didn't mind but other people might.

Neither of us had been to Cadbury World since we were about 6 or 7 so to be honest we had no idea what to expect apart from chocolate!  Even though there were loads of children running around I can't quite see what would have interested them apart from the chocolate samples - we got bored at the second talk, so I can only imagine how bored the little ones were.

My favourite bit of the talks were these two funny little beans :)  So we tootled along through all the talking holograms and displays hoping to finally find something interactive to do and it wasn't until we got near the end of Cadbury World did we find it - a big Spots and Stripes sports area where we could play numerous sports.

After that we got to ride on the what I call Bean Car (Miranda reference) which made me chuckle - especially at the Indian Beans! I'll give credit to Cadbury World the moving beans and the little bean town was really cute and funny.

There was a lot more interactive things to do after the Bean Car ride (it would have been good if the start had more) including the Wii to play on and some cool photo opportunities.

In the Essence section we got to try some liquid chocolate complete with the topping of our choice - we both hard marshmallow - it's fair to say that where a lot of the activity was - free chocolate = queues!

We raided the Cadbury World shop and bought both our weights in chocolate and seen as I loved the beans so much Ash treated me to a funny Bean mug - I've tried drinking tea out of it and it's pretty tough! Might just have to make it into a decoration - could even fill it with chocolate!
I enjoyed Cadbury World - not sure it was worth the entry we paid but it's definitely a trip for chocolate fans and those who like their history.
